We do not believe in one-size-fits-all childcare. We take the time to notice the small things: the stories they tell, the friendships they make, the moments they shine. Your child is not just a name on our register - they are a unique individual with their own personality, interests, and needs.
Every child has a family worker - a dedicated practitioner who builds a special relationship with your child and with you. They are the one who knows your child's favourite book, understands their moods and celebrates their achievements with you
Our Story
It started with one childminder's dream
Anne Paul did not set out to build a group of nurseries. She set out to change one child's day at a time.
Starting as a registered childminder in her own home, Anne cared for small groups of children with a simple philosophy: every child deserves to be truly seen. She noticed something that stayed with her: when children feel genuinely known - when someone notices their favourite song, remembers they do not like loud noises, celebrates the tower they built - they flourish.
That simple truth became The Nomi Way.
Today, Nomi has grown to four nurseries across Essex. We have dozens of staff, hundreds of families, and all the resources and spacious facilities that come with being an established childcare provider. But our heart remains exactly the same as it was in Anne's living room.
"Every child, every chance." - Anne Paul

Our Values
Equality of access
Every child deserves outstanding early years care, regardless of background, circumstance, or family income. We accept all government funding schemes, offer flexible sessions with no minimum attendance, and are committed to transparent, honest pricing.
Inclusivity
Different is beautiful. We genuinely celebrate neurodiversity, actively support children with SEND, and create spaces where every family feels they belong. Our SENCO works across all four settings to ensure children get the individual support they need.
Care
This is not just our job - it is our calling. Every practitioner at Nomi is here because they genuinely love what they do. We look after our team so they can look after your children.
Curiosity
We follow the child's lead. Questions are encouraged, exploration is celebrated and wonder is the curriculum. Curiosity is how children learn best. Our job is to fuel it, not extinguish it.
